KETERLIBATAN KERJA DAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI TERHADAP ORGANIZATION CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (PERILAKU OCB)

Abstract


To win business competition, the leadership must also have excellence, especially the superiority of
human resources. This advantage can create and increase competitiveness to retain customers or
increase the number of customers. To realize the creation of superior employee performance, bank
leaders need to foster and create employee behavior towards organizational citizenship behavior (OCB
behavior). This study aims to analyze whether there is a significant influence of employee engagement
and organizational commitment to OCB behavior in Banks in Pekanbaru. From the theory and the
results of the first research, it was formulated that the high or low behavior of bank OCB employees
was influenced by employee involvement and organizational commitment. To simplify the research
process, respondents from bank employees and questionnaire distribution techniques were used to
collect data. Data analysis techniques using Regression statistics from SPSS version 23. From the
results of statistical tests found that work involvement has a significant effect on OCB bank employees'
behavior, organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee OCB behavior and it is
found that work involvement and organizational commitment significantly influence OCB behavior
Bank employees. Leaders need to increase employee work engagement and organizational commitment
by trying to provide motivation to employees and rewarding the achievements generated during the
work in order to increase greater engagement between employees and their jobs. It is expected that the
leader is able to increase the organizational commitment of employees by providing a guarantee of the
future of working in this bank, involving employees in making decisions about employment and increasing
the company's concern for employee problems.
